Return Policy
At Blind Smart, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Because our window coverings are custom-made to your exact measurements, our return policy is designed to comply with industry standards while ensuring you receive a high-quality product.
1. 30-Day Return Window (Defective/Damaged Items)
We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery for specific cases:
- Eligible for Return: Products that are defective, damaged during transit, or do not match your order specifications (e.g., incorrect color or size sent by us).
- Not Eligible: As items are custom-manufactured, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for "change of mind," style preference, or incorrect measurements provided by the customer.
2. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact us at support@blindsmartofyuma.com within 30 days of receiving your order:
- Include your order number and clear photos illustrating the defect or damage.
- Once approved, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label and instructions.
- Note: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.
3. Return Shipping & Fees
- Shipping Costs: For defective or damaged items, Blind Smart covers 100% of the return shipping costs.
- Restocking Fees: We do not charge any restocking fees for defective or incorrectly sent items.
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the status. Approved refunds are processed automatically to your original payment method (Credit/Debit Card or PayPal) within 5–7 business days, including the full purchase price and any original shipping costs.
5. Damaged in Transit
Please inspect your package upon delivery. If the packaging is visibly damaged, please document it with photos before opening. Contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and arrange for a replacement.
6. Order Cancellations
As production begins shortly after an order is placed, you may cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase. After this 24-hour window, the order enters our custom fabrication system and cannot be canceled.
